Anna-Brigitte Schlittler
Anna-Brigitte Schlittler studied art history, history, and philosophy at the University of Zurich. She has been a Lecturer in the Theory of Art and Design and in Fashion Theory at Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK) since 2003. While her teaching and research focus on the symbolic functions of clothing within political, gender, and body discourses, she also explores aspects of the history of design and production since the French Revolution. Since 2006, she has curated several exhibitions on contemporary fashion design (including «Kleid im Kontext,» Gewerbemuseum Winterthur 2009/10), for which she has written various essays and texts for publication (most recently, she contributed as an editor and author to «Kleider in Räumen,» 2009/10).
