Gunnar Schmidt
Gunnar Schmidt has been Professor of the Theory and Practice of Intermedia at the University of Applied Sciences Trier since 2009. He studied English, Political Science, and Pedagogics at Hamburg University, where he earned both doctoral and postdoctoral degrees. Previous teaching and research positions include the universities of Hamburg, Dortmund, Siegen, and the Folkwang Hochschule Essen. Besides his research activities, he has worked as a copywriter and creative director in advertising and the Internet economy. His most recent publication is Weiche Displays. Projektionen auf Rauch, Wolken und Nebel (Wagenbach 2011).
