Maren Raetzer

Maren Raetzer is director of the Hessian Puppet Museum in Hanau. She is also a Visiting Lecturer in Fashion and Costume History. She studied folkore and art history in Göttingen, and in 2002 earned a doctorate for her dissertation on “Damast aus Grossschönau.” She went on to work at Hannover’s Historical Museum, amongst others in the costume research unit, where she curated various exhibitions.
